Giving new direction to people’s lives through water resource conservation and infrastructure development

Mons Joseph is a Member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly representing the Kaduthuruthy Assembly Constituency, from where he has been elected six times. He is the Executive Chairman of the Kerala Congress (Joseph).

He has previously served as State President of the Youth Front, Kottayam District President of Kerala Congress, and State General Secretary of the party. He was first elected to the Kerala Legislative Assembly in 1996. During the 2006–2011 tenure of the Government of Kerala led by V. S. Achuthanandan, he served for one year as the Minister for Public Works.

Mons Joseph was born on 30 May 1964 at Appanchira in Kaduthuruthy to O. Joseph and Mariamma Joseph. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree.
